AFTER reading the articles recently published in the Examiner and perusing the generated computer image of the proposed new extension to the Kingsgate shopping centre, I’m at loss as to why once again, as in town centre developments over the last 40 or 50 years, no consideration has been given to saving or incorporating our buildings of historical interest into or part of these new developments.Read
