Speech teacher on TV

AN Upperthong elocution teacher will be pulling pints in the new series of Last Of The Summer Wine.

Susan Mallinson - who first appeared as a barmaid in the longest-running comedy series in 1998 - will be making a return to our screens in the new year.

She is also celebrating 20 years since she founded her School of Speech and Drama in Holmfirth at the former Conservative Club - now the Old Bridge Hotel.
