Dora adds star quality

Actress Dora Bryan was among the guests at a glittering dinner to mark the Examiner's 150th anniversary at Huddersfield Town Hall last night.

The actress stood to greet the other guests, gave a little dance and had everyone laughing out loud when she announced: "I'm an actress, you know."

Dora Bryan and Catherine Ogle, vicar of Huddersfield.

Dora has been in Huddersfield filming for the BBC TV comedy series Last Of The Summer Wine and was at the dinner with the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Catherine Ogle, pictured here with her.

The vicar said: "Dora is a good friend, who attends services at the church whenever she is in town and enjoys a coffee at The Keys, our cafe below the church.

"She was delighted to be invited to the dinner and thought Huddersfield Town Hall was magnificent."
