YOUNG Bill Farr has shown Last Of The Summer Wine actors a thing or two about careering down a hill on wheels.
For the nine-year-old has been picked for a part with a micro-sccooter in the first episode of the new series after watching the crew film in Marsden.
Bill, of New Street, Slaithwaite, was with his father, Andrew, and brother George, 11, outside the Riverhead pub.
Andrew said: "We were watching the filming and Bill was running around and talking to people in his usual way.
"One of the crew said they might have a part that could suit him."
Bill went for a day of filming at The Huntsman pub, Holmfirth.
But he will not let fame go to his head. "I have never wanted to be an actor. It just came up," he said.
"I want to be an artist when I grow up," added Bill.
