LAST Of The Summer Wine actress Kathy Staff will take part in a live Radio 4 broadcast at the Great Yorkshire Show next week.

BBC radio's longest-running magazine programme, Woman's Hour, will be broadcast from a stage in the Harrogate event's fashion and art pavilion at 10am on Thursday.

Presenter Jenni Murray will be joined by Kathy - better known as battleaxe Nora Batty in the long-running, Holmfirth-based BBC TV comedy - author Joanne Harris, writer Kay Mellor and TV executive Janet Street-Porter.
