Domestic Football Review 2008

We have teamed up with PA Sport to bring you a series of podcasts over the festive season that look back at 2008. This year has been a remarkable one for English football. The 2007-08 season ended with Manchester United retaining their Barclays Premier League title after a tense finale with Chelsea. The two sides then went on to meet in the Champions League final in Moscow in May where United eventually lifted the trophy after a dramatic penalty shoot-out. The 2008-09 season has been one of the most exciting so far with Liverpool making a brilliant start to the campaign while Chelsea and Manchester United will also be confident of lifting the trophy going into the new year.
