Terry George: Find your soul and help out!
Sep 15 2008 by Terry George
I’M looking forward to Saturday 4th October when Yorkshire’s answer to the Dreamgirls will be taking to the stage at Halifax Victoria Theatre once again for a one-night spectacular soul and Motown revue.
The event is in aid of three charities – The Samaritans, RSPCA and Endometriosis UK and there are sure to be some stars there on the night.
The group is made up of Soul singers Kate Hardcastle, Hannah Cygan-Wrobleski and Lisa Roberts.
Huddersfield-born Kate met Hannah and Lisa in the early 90s at Brooksbank School, Elland.
They were in a band then but reformed last year.
It was great fun then so I’d definitely recommend it. Check out their website www.yorkshirecharityconcert.co.uk for more details.
