WAYNE Rooney is back from training in America and straight into the Manchester United team. But was he really in the States?

Mrs Mary Chambers from Newsome thinks he might have been in rehearsal for the Billy Pearce panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Bradford.

“I think he might be moonlighting at the Alhambra,” she said and sent me a poster to prove it.

Could that be Wayne, third from the left, among the dwarfs?

The show runs from December 18 to February 6. So if the United striker gets an injury that puts him out of the game over Christmas, he could be recuperating in panto in Bradford.
