THE calendar season is upon us, bringing with it an opportunity for organisations great and small to raise funds and show us what they can do with 13 photographs.

Today, being a cat lover, I’m featuring an image from the local Cats Protection calendar, a publication that is replete with cute kitty pictures. It’s right up my street.

January’s image of three kittens - two sleepy, one a bit on the bitey side - is my particular favourite and brings back fond memories of the kittens Secondborn fostered for the organisation last summer.

All the cats featured were fostered and re-homed in the Huddersfield, Halifax and Brighouse areas.
