CAN anyone really believe the Cabinet ministers who deny any knowledge of the hundreds of thousands of pounds given to them by a north eastern businessman? I can’t. Particularly when I learn he is the Labour party’s second largest donor and he has been ever-present at their gatherings. As this embarrassment comes on the back of the “Cash for honours” disgrace something must be done. The whole system is rotten and open to abuse....
