Giants’ step!

IT’S the toughest of assignments – opening the Super League season against the current champions.
But Huddersfield Giants go into Sunday’s clash confident they can beat Leeds Rhinos in front of a Galpharm Stadium crowd expected to exceed 12,000.
And who’s to say they can’t do it?
Experts reckon the competition will be closer and more difficult to predict than ever before. So get ready for some exciting games.
And with no relegation this year, clubs are likely to play in a far more adventurous way – determined to show they deserve a place in an expanded elite division from 2009. Summer rugby is hardly the best of names to describe a season that begins in February. But at least we can start dreaming again.
