STRIKING new buildings of style and quality.
That’s what been promised by developers who have finally submitted revised plans for a £175m Waterfront Quarter which will face Chapel Hill.
Yes the developer’s plans are ambitious but in addition to new offices, homes and a new campus for Huddersfield Technical College, they propose to undertake extensive work to the Huddersfield Narrow Canal which runs through the site and provide a new public square and access to the river Colne and canal side footpaths.
All of that has to be welcome news.
