Warning lights

LINTHWAITE chip shop owner Adam Fogerty has learned a bitter lesson after being ordered to take down the neon signs at his business.
He failed to ask for planning approval before splashing out £4,000.
The moral?
Well, we don’t mean to be harsh and it may be a pain, it may seem bureaucratic, but follow the correct procedures.
They are there for good reasons and one of those is to allow neighbours to have their say on whether things like Adam’s lights are appropriate.
