HUDDERSFIELD has long boasted some of the country’s top musicians as its own.

The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival is one such festival which brings musicians and composers to town from all around the globe.

Over the weekend hundreds of music lovers joined the crowds as the festival got under way, and they were able to see some of the finest music on offer.

The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival has always strived to offer the chance to enjoy music rarely performed in Huddersfield.

With more than 50 concerts, installations and talks, many of the performances there are unique artistic experiences to suit all tastes.

It runs all week and is a must for music lovers.
