A SEASIDE tradition seems set to get a new lease of life.
The saucy postcard images made famous by Holmfirth firm Bamforth’s are to appear on jigsaws, mugs, T-shirts, beer glasses, placemats, bookmarks, coasters, playing cards and kitchen wear.
It means a tradition started by the Holmfirth company back in 1870 will be with us for quite some time in the future.
It’s such a simple idea it’s a wonder it’s not been thought of before.
