FOR young people the chance to appear in a newspaper and on TV is exciting.
And it’s only right that the good work of young people is recognised.
The Examiner does that every day and now the children at two Huddersfield schools are preparing for a TV appearance.
Rawthorpe Junior School pupils will on Wednesday show off their hard work with the Incredible Edible initiative, which has seen them grow their own food.
Then the Lindley Junior School Choir will no doubt be in fine tune when they sing at The Lowry in Manchester for Songs of Praise.
The choir members are already versed in TV, having already appeared on the programme in 2008.
In both cases, the children are rightly showing off the positive work done in schools, and they’ll no doubt crowd round the TV screens to see their starring roles.
