Backing Mr Ahmed

WITH regard to the recent story on Mr Shazad Ahmed, owner and shopkeeper in Paddock, Huddersfield. I completely endorse the letter from Lynda Green of Paddock and others.

Mr Shazad Ahmed is a true pillar of our society. The fact he spoke back to a police officer is, I feel, completely justified.

I have been involved in sales for over 20 years and if and when I am at the head of any company I would want Mr Ahmed by my side.

He is the most polite, honest and caring individual I have ever met.

He holds an impeccable record in his previous careers for school/charity /hospital endeavours and asks for nothing in return, not even a thank you.
