Come to consultations
Dec 7 2007 by Andrew Flynn, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
I MUST take issue with the points raised by Angry libraryuser, Almondbury (Mailbag December 4).
Firstly, Angry libraryuser has totally misrepresented the points I made in a private letter to a member of the public. Furthermore, how can this person possibly know that the number of people using an enhanced modern facility would be “drastically reduced”?
As far as I am aware there are currently no plans for the current building. If it does become redundant then it may well be designated for residential development.
I would urge residents to come along to the two public consultations about this issue. One is at the Pop In Centre, Aldonley tomorrow between 1pm and 4pm. The second is at Almondbury Library, Stocks Walk on Wednesday December 12 between 3pm and 7pm.
