Bins and brainless idiots
Jan 16 2008 by Andrew Flynn, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
MUM is 87 and finds walking difficult these days. She struggled outside carrying her recycling rubbish only to find that some brainless idiot has stolen the recycling bin.
Passers-by have frequently stuffed their rubbish into her bin, which is kept beside a public footpath because it is a so called “assisted bin” and has to be left where the binmen can easily get it.
She is not strong enough to haul the bin herself to the collection point used by her neighbours. Now she has to get another bin delivered by the council and meanwhile has nowhere to put her recyclable rubbish.
Do these brainless idiots get some kind of amusement from doing this? If they do derive amusement from such mindless stupidity what “sad acts” they must be if they can only amuse themselves by nicking dustbins.
Flabbergasted
