AS Farooq Aftab (Mailbag Feb 16) well knows the only reason that the Danish cartoons were reprinted was because of a plan to kill the cartoonist. Without this plan there would have been no reprinting and no further attention would have been drawn to the allegedly blasphemous cartoons. The only vulgarity exists in the actions of those who plot to kill people whose drawings offend them. Read
