Best wishes for Jacko

I WOULD like to wish Peter Jackson a speedy recovery from his throat cancer. Ten years ago my wife was diagnosed with a form of cancer in her neck, so I understand the shock of diagnosis, the discomfort of the treatment and its side-effects.

It’s a terrible disease and my thoughts are with him and his family at this time.

I would like to add, on a positive note, that my wife has now been given the all-clear after 10 long years of having the illness hanging over us.

She survived and has gone from strength to strength since her treatment ended.
