Ban hoods in bid to battle crime
Mar 8 2008 by Our Correspondent, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
IT appears the number of muggings, both in and out of town, are constantly being perpetrated by “hoodies”.
This seems to be the recognised uniform worn to signify a trouble-maker.
Given that in this uniform they stand out like sore thumbs, why can’t Kirklees introduce a by-law forbidding the wearing of hoods unless used to protect against bad weather. It’s time something was done to combat these idiots.
