I MUST take issue with Colin Vause (Mailbag April 28). If he were to look in the dictionary the noun ruin describes items that “have fallen into decay, disrepair”. While this adequately describes our roads the same cannot be said of Castle Hill or the Victoria Tower. He intimates that even when the steps are repaired Castle Hill will still, in his eyes, be ruins! Read
