WHILE I do not favour the Chinese way of training small children to reach the standards their State Circus achieves I thought it fair to attend their recent show in Huddersfield to appreciate the performers’ hard work and to try and understand a different culture....

THEY are crackers for having the circus in Greenhead Park in the first place. I’m not surprised about this. At one time the biggest wagon on the roads was 20 tonnes, but now some of them are 40 tonnes....
