WHATEVER happened to customer service? Or even basic common courtesy?...

WE recently saw the final chance for a reprieve of the Post Office network when Parliament voted not to support a motion calling for a suspension to the closures while the widely criticised closure programme was reconsidered....

WHAT a fantastic Golcar Lily Day for all the community of Golcar on Saturday. Many events were taking place all round the village. The musical entertainment was excellent. It showed what good entertainers we have locally....

I WAS having a drink with a friend called Gary Cullen and his two sons, who had lived on St Thomas’ Road at Folly Hall most of their lives, when the question arose as to why was it also known as “Deadwaters.” Nobody knew the answer....
