I WAS having a drink with a friend called Gary Cullen and his two sons, who had lived on St Thomas’ Road at Folly Hall most of their lives, when the question arose as to why was it also known as “Deadwaters.” Nobody knew the answer.
Various other customers got involved all saying, “I used to live on there.” One was my cousin Ronnie Kelly who had lived there for over 30 years, but still no solution! Can you ask your readers if they can come up with the reason why? We can usually rely on the Examiner’s readers to solve most queries.
