Barry’s wrong on bus travel!
May 20 2008 by Our Correspondent, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
BARRY GIBSON is concerned that pensioners will suffer expensive bus fares to travel to the Post Office to buy stamps (Examiner, May 14). Doesn’t he know that over-60s get free bus travel after 9.30am?
So they can use the subsidised bus to travel to the subsidised post office to buy their subsidised TV licences. I can’t wait to get old.
