Well done, sort of . . .

CONGRATULATIONS to your columnist Terry George and his partner Michael on winning the best house in Britain award (Examiner May 16).

He says he could not believe it and was amazed. Well not as amazed as me, I can tell you. The furniture looked like a right eclectic mix and the house looked dark and dingy. But then again I don’t suppose you can put picture windows in a castle can you? But, hey, my opinion could change if he invites me up for a drink and a look round.
