A tale of two rivers

SADLY, the state of the River Holme (recent Examiners) is reflected in the Colne. For several years we’ve had the River Colne Project, which has done some good work but not much river clearance.

Worse still, some of the scrap metal, glass, paint etc has left the primeval swamp of the river and mutated into the bankside River Colne Sculpture Trail.

Another hundred grand well spent.
