Thanks to purse finder

MAY I offer my grateful thanks to the gentleman who picked up my purse at Sainsbury’s in Market Street on Tuesday after I had carelessly dropped it on the floor instead of putting it back into my bag.

He went to great pains to catch up with me after attracting the attention of an assistant. I did have the chance to say thanks to him, but I want every one of your readers to know that in the days of horrible headlines there is honesty in our town.
