Great start in life

MY son has just finished his time at play school before he starts nursery school in September. He has been attending Linthwaite Methodist Church Playgroup and Toddlers.

I just want to say what a fantastic job the ladies who work there do. Child care, in my opinion, is one of the hardest and most poorly paid jobs there is in relation to the work done and what they achieve.

These women work hard to give our kids the best possible start in their education and are paid appallingly. They have to do lots of courses to be able to do this job and also have lots of follow-on courses to do after gaining the initial qualifications. I am so grateful to them for the start they have given my son. He has loved every minute of his time there. I know that he has been given 100% by all involved, and want to say thank you and give them the recognition they truly deserve.
