What about a rebate?

I AGREE wholeheartedly with the sentiments of Peter K Garside (Mailbag, July 17 – “Striking union should be ashamed”), if not to the extent of throwing missiles at the strikers.

But given the reports in the paper on the same day that bins due to be emptied while the strike was in progress will be missed, I would like to ask Kirklees council when I will get a rebate on my (extortionate) council tax for services NOT rendered? Award winning council? Not in my opinion!
