Police pub tactics

IN our days of underage drinking what worried us was the likelihood of our fellow drinkers suddenly revealing themselves as plain-clothes policemen and arresting us, the barmaid and the landlord.

So if it’s true what West Yorkshire Police say that pubs are wick with youthful drinkers wouldn’t it be as easy to try that approach and thus nail all the genuinely guilty parties instead of entrapping people? Or are they afraid of complaints of police harassment from the youths’ “concerned” parents?
