LOOK out this month for a music spectacular at the Paramount in Penistone.
The dates are November 10 and 11 and the man featured at the Compton organ keyboard will be Kevin Grunill.
With him over this two-day musical extravaganza will be The Take Two Big Band and guest singers in a pair of concerts called Music, Music, Music.
The mighty sound of the four-manual organ, built by the John Compton Organ Co in 1937, is produced by mechanical means, using electrical relays to drive compressed air through ranks of full size pipes and instruments in a large chamber below the stage.
Hear for yourself the sound of a bygone age during a weekend which promises to be a music spectacular.
