The cast of Millennium Stage Productions in Basil the Rat

Amateur actors from all over West Yorkshire will be joining forces for the Millennium Stage Productions version of Basil the Rat this weekend.

With Laura Womersley from Huddersfield playing Polly; Christine Roberts from Bradford as Sybil; and Brendan Lynn from Dewsbury as Manuel, the Fawlty Towers-themed show can be seen tonight and tomorrow at Batley Town Hall.

The play is part of a double-header, with Strictly Sex Factor (on ice).
