From Bollywood to belly dancing, a charity event at Huddersfield Town Hall will explore many different styles – and offer the audience a chance to learn them.

Organised by Huddersfield-based dance teacher Ann Wear, the One Community Charity Dance Show and workshops are planned for May 3.

Supporting the Mayor of Kirklees’ charity, One Community, which raises funds for local groups, the show will feature Arab dancing by Bev Smith; Romani style dances from Tina Jackson, and Ann’s own interpretation of belly dancing.

In the afternoon, the three women will be hosting workshops, open to members of the public. For more details contact Ann on ann.wear@talktalk.net

Tickets for the show are available from the Town Hall box office at £14 and £10, including a hot supper.
