Never heard Handel’s Messiah performed live? Now’s your chance.
Tomorrow evening sees Huddersfield Voices and Friends performing the world-famous choral work at Huddersfield Parish Church. The concert, which will be conducted by Charles Rhodes and features soloists Emily Pearce, Sally Perkins, Ben Inman, James Berry and Danny Mills, starts at 7pm. Tickets are £5 and £10 on the door.
And then on Sunday, November 30, a guest choir will bring the Messiah to Parkwood Methodist Church, Longwood, in a free afternoon performance starting at 2.30pm.
The conductor is Gareth Beaumont and the soloists are Janet Cowley, David Heathcoat, Daniel Fields, Harriet Astbury and Michael O’Farrell.
