A new season of exhibitions has opened at Dean Clough Galleries, showcasing the work of painters, illustrators and photographers.

The Crossley Gallery is hosting Jo Brown: Open Pathways, a collection of abstract paintings and drawings; in the Upstairs Galleries there is Chris Cullen: The Ingenious Gentleman, whose illustrative, detailed work is centred around Cervantes’ character Don Quixote; the Photography Gallery is showing Erik Knudsen: Cuba in Waiting, a view of Cuba during Castro’s rule; the Illustration Gallery has David Roberts: Tales of Terror, bringing Chris Priestley’s chilling tales to life with extraordinary clarity; in the Link Gallery there is Boffinworld, putting the fun into physics with wacky creations; and the Seminar Gallery hosts Stephen Weir: And While We Play Tennis, a collection of intriguing mixed-media boxed collages.

Each exhibition is on until January 3, 2015. The galleries are open from 9am until 5pm every day.
