Young classical musicians Ariana Kashefi and Timothy End are to play for Huddersfield Music Society on Monday, December 8.

A cellist with solo experience at many major venues in the capital, Ariana studied at the Royal College of Music and graduated from the Royal College of Music in 2013 with first class honours.

She will be accompanied by Timothy, who also gained first class honours, but from King’s College, London. He is now an associate of the Royal Academy of Music and an award-winning accompanist.

The duo will perform Beethoven’s Sonata in C major, Janacek’s Pohadka, Rachmaninov’s Cello Sonata in G minor and three movements from Bach’s cello suite in C major.

The concert at St Paul’s Hall on the Huddersfield University campus starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £18 for adults and £3 for students, available on the door or from www.huddersfield-music-society.org.uk
