There’s a triple bill of contemporary dance on offer at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield on Thursday, March 10.

Presented by the award-winning National Dance Company Wales, the show explores themes of social dynamics.

The three pieces are: Folk, by Caroline Flinn, which explores themes of social dynamics; Tuplet by Alexander Ekman, la high-octain woirk based around rhythm; and A Might Wind, Jeroen Verbruggen’s edgy, gothic vision that draws on the experience of a stadium rock concert.

The production starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 to £16 from www.thelbt.org.uk or 01484 430528.

During the afternoon of March 10 there is an opportunity for artists to sketch or photograph the dancers in a Watch Dance Class from 12.45pm. Tickets are £3.50 and include tea and cake. This session is also open to those who simply want to see the dancers in action.
