The new season for Opera North opens on Saturday, September 20, with Verdi’s blockbuster La Traviata.
It is the most performed opera in the world, with instantly recognisable music and a story to break hearts.
Youth South African director Alessandro Talevi directions the company’s first new production of the opera since 1999. It can be seen at Leeds Grand Theatre at selected dates until November.
