Sixteen bands will do battle for a chance to perform at Huddlefest.

The festival, organised by Daniel Atkinsand Denzel Roach in Greenhead Park due to take place in Greenhead Park in September, will have a main stage for established bands and a second stage for local acts.

Bar 1:22 is set to host two ‘Road to Huddlefest’ events with the best four bands picked to play the festival.

The first battle is tonight featuring Washington Read, The Stray, Pinstripe Tuesday, Termite, MXI, Drunken Duncan, Byron Street Social and The Young Nothings.

The second battle on Friday, May 23, will involve Savvy and the Savoir Faire, Penguin, All Becomes Clear, Liberate, Able’s Army, The Reveurs, Cafune and Bloom.
