MUSIC groups who advertise their events at Huddersfield Tourist Information Centre are being invited to a protest meeting about Kirklees Council’s plan to close it from September.
Singers Stan Solomons and Eric Cooper have arranged the meeting at the Methodist Mission on Lord Street on April 23 at 8pm.
The two men believe local organisations, such as choirs and theatre groups, will be hit by the closure and are appealing to members to attend the protest event.
