THE Roy Orbison tribute show, Blue Bayou, is coming to Cleckheaton Town Hall on Saturday, March 1.

Alan Morris (pictured) and his five- piece band bring to life the Big O’s memorable performances in a fast-moving sixties show which he has taken nationwide and abroad since putting it together in 2004.

Morris says: “My parents took me to see him in Blackpool when I was a child; I never forgot the performance.

“Roy Orbison had a most incredible influence on my life. It was the songs, that incredible voice, the man himself.

“I wanted to look and sound like The Big O.”

The show also features the memorable music of The Everly Brothers with tribute band Two of a Kind.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are on sale at £13 (£12 concessions) from Kirklees booking office on 01484 223200.
