HE’S barely finished a sell-out autumn tour before he’s off on the road again.

Comedian Patrick Monahan had huge success with his new show, Hug Me I Feel Good and now he’s intent on collecting more applause.

Patrick is in Huddersfield on February 22 to play theLawrence Batley Theatre.

His humour, it seems, travels well. He engages the audience with charming banter about local affairs and universal issues, but also has an animated story telling style that draws on his own experiences of growing up in Teesside.

Patrick was brought up in Middlesbrough by his Iranian mother and Irish dad and has a wealth of anecdotal stories to tell.

Last year was a busy time for him. He won the TV series, Show Me The Funny, released his debut DVD, Patrick Monahan Live and won the 2011 Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People's Choice Award for his Edinburgh Festival run.

He also made his home town proud by being the ambassador for the ‘Love Middlesbrough’ campaign which saw Middlesbrough officially made a city for 2012!

And this year doesn’t look about to let up. He’s not only touring but will take part in BBC1's Let’s Dance for Sport Relief.
