The first ever Halifax Comedy Festival will take over 14 venues in October.
The nine-day event, featuring stand-up shows, workshops, theatre and a film, will feature well known comics including Jasper Carrott, Alistair McGowan, Paul Chowdhry, Andy Hamilton and many more.
When is Halifax Comedy Festival?
The festival will run from Friday 23rd October to Saturday 31 October.
The festival line-up includes more than 50 events, with organisers hoping to create the largest comedy festival in the region.
Festival director Tim Fagan said: "Over the past 12 months, the Halifax Comedy Festival team, along with our amazing friends and partners, have been working our little socks off to cook up, what we believe, is the largest comedy festival in the region."
