GET ready for a comedy clash of the hippest new comedians on the scene.

The All Stars of Comedy, Def Jam edition comes to the Lawrence Batley Theatre next Saturday.

Headlining is Tony Roberts, dubbed the comedian’s comedian, who hails from Detroit and brings his energetic brand of humour to the stage.

He rose to prominence after being spotted by American sitcom director, David Steinberg, who saw him in stand-up and quickly cast him in a series of fast-food commercials he directed.

It led to him becoming a household name across the pond.

He’ll be sharing the LBT stage with Canadian comedy star Trixx, who is developing quite a following across the international comedy circuit.

Also featuring is Katt, who has built up a fanbase for his antics on TV show MTV Base.

Other top talent of the night includes Channel 4 TV rising star winner 2010 Jason Patterson and familiar household name in Jamaica, Tony Hendriks.

The All Stars of Comedy comes to the LBT on Saturday, July 30.

Tickets are £16.50 or £14 with an NUS card. Contact the Box Office on 01484 430528 or visit www.thelbt.org for more details.
