YOUNG dancers from across Kirklees are putting the final touches to their routines for JUMP and Shout at the Lawrence Batley Theatre next week.

These performances, showcasing the talents of the area’s young dancers, have been held in Huddersfield for almost 15 years.

Next week, they will be staged at the LBT on Wednesday, November 28, and Thursday, November 29, with further performances on Wednesday and Thursday December 5 and 6.

Children from North Kirklees will once again be able to showcase their skills for the second time at Dewsbury Town Hall.

Their performance is on Monday, December 10.

A group from St Joseph’s School in Dewsbury are currently rehearsing their moves before they take to the stage to entertain family, friends and the public.

The shows will involve dancers aged from two to 19 years take to the stage at both venues with performances involving dancers from after-school, community and independent dance groups.
