Emley Show 2015 is just weeks away, with a fun day out for all the family in store.
The agricultural show will be held on Saturday August 1 — Yorkshire Day — beneath the iconic Emley Moor Mast.
Tickets are on sale now — and thousands of people will be planning a trip to Emley Moor to enjoy the festivities.
The showground is ten minutes from Huddersfield, twenty minutes from Wakefield and an easy drive from Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield.
As well as offering free parking, Emley Show also runs a free shuttle bus from Emley village centre and encourages visitors to use public transport if possible.

Emley Show takes place at the Factory Farm showground, in Factory Lane, Emley, HD8 9TE.
By car:
Good news — if you're planning to travel by car, Emley Show offers free parking in the fields near the showground, including disabled spaces and designated parking for members.
If you're coming from the M62 — Come off the motorway at junction 24 (Ainley Top) and take the A629 at the roundabout towards Huddersfield/Halifax. At the next roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A629 for about two miles, then diverge slight left onto the A62 Castlegate to A62 Southgate, leading to Huddersfield Ring Road.
Go across the roundabout by Sainsburys onto the A62 (Wakefield Road) for about 4.5 miles, then take a right onto Paul Lane in Lepton Edge for one mile, passing the Cinnamon Lounge. From there, follow the signs for the Emley Show exhibitor and visitor parking areas.
If you're coming from the M1 — Come off the motorway at junction 38, and take the A637 Huddersfield Road dual carriageway for five miles towards Huddersfield. Go across roundabouts by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and by Denby Dale road, continuing through Flockton Village Centre.
Take a turn onto Haigh Lane, just after the Sun Pub in Flockton, for around half a mile. Continue onto Windmill Hill Lane for a further half a mile and turn right onto Westfield Lane — then follow the signs for the Emley Show exhibitor and visitor parking areas.
On show day, Factory Lane is one-way only, and at peak times you may have to queue to get into the car park. Follow the directions and stewards.
By bus:
The 232 Huddersfield to Wakefield/Wakefield to Huddersfield service goes to Emley from Huddersfield Bus Station — check bus times on the West Yorkshire Metro website.
A free shuttle bus runs to and from the showground from Emley Cross, leaving every hour from 9am, then every half-hour from 11am. The last return bus will leave the showground at 5.45pm.
