If you haven't bought your pumpkin for Halloween yet, you're in luck — you can go and pick your own!

Farmer Copley's Pumpkin Festival is back, giving visitors the chance to pick and carve their own pumpkins, sample some spooky Halloween-themed food, take a barrel ride and more.

The Pontefract-based festival, running this weekend (October 17-18) and October 24th to Halloween (October half term), offers carve your own pumpkin from £2 per pumpkin.

You can also ride the Pumpkin Express, watch a duck race or play pumpkin skittles!

Youngsters can also hear the Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, with readings at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 2.45pm from October 17.

You can also treat yourself to a toffee or chocolate apple made by the Toffee Apple Witch in the Witches shack!

The festival runs 10am-4pm, and admission is free.

Sensible footwear is recommended.
